Object of the Bill
The object of the Bill is to provide a regulatory framework that Facilitates the safe development and application of Biotechnology; to designate a national focal point, and a competent authority; to establish a national biosafety committee and Institutional biosafety committees ; to provide mechanism to regulate research, development and general release of genetically modified organism and for related matters
