Object of the Bill
The object of this Bill is to amend the Insurance Act, Cap 213; to close the loopholes in the law; to correct the errors in the law; to ensure clarity of law; to enhance corporate governance in the insurance sector; to enhance the development of the insurance sector and to provide for other connected purposes.
