Object of the Bill
The object of this Bill is to make miscellaneous amendments in the Local Government Act, Cap 243—
(a) to take account of judgements of Constitutional Court;
(b) otherwise to bring the Local Governments Act into conformity with the Constitution; and
(c) to effect various improvements that have become necessary in the implementation of the Act in order to make the Act more user friendly, fair and clear.
