Object of the Bill

The object of this Bill is to provide for the restructuring of the Communications Industry in Uganda by establishing the Uganda Communications Commission, providing for its functions and administration; providing for the Incorporation of the Uganda Telecommunications Limited, and Uganda Post Limited, to introduce competition in the Industry, and for the other purposes connected to the above.
