Object of the Bill

The object of the Bill is to amend the third Schedule to the Constitution of the Republic of Uganda in accordance with articles 259 and 262 of the Constitution to include the Maragoli who settled in Uganda in the 19th Century as one of Ugandas indigenous communities as at 1st February 1926.
