Object of the Bill
The objective of this bill is to amend the Cooperative Societies Act Cap 112; to strengthen regulation and supervision of all types of cooperatives, improve safety and soundness of savings and credit cooperatives, enhance cooperative identity and solidarity, promote
member empowerment and improve governance within cooperatives for sustainability of cooperative enterprises and for other related matters
